Three Gates, Three Dimensions by

Three Gates, Three Parallel Dimensions

He rests his hand on the first gate. He has already experienced the second and third. He didn’t find peace down either path. Why must he go again? Only he knows. Only he is drawn by the energy of these parallel dimensions. He is compelled to journey again into the unknown. Maybe he will eventually find the peace he’s searching for. I’m scared. Scared he won’t return but there is nothing I can do. Some force of nature is drawing him. He can’t even explain it himself. I’ll wait, I’ll pray, I’ll watch for the gate to open and for him to return. He never remembers the experience and each time he returns, he’s changed. It’s as if he is a different person. Who knows what trials and tribulations he faced down those mysterious paths. Somewhere in his mind, he’s searching, but for what? I will wait and watch, That’s all I can do. I pray he will find what he is looking for.

Ver interesting. Could be made into a triptych, too. Love the silhouettes against the exaggerated colors.

  • Thank you Fran for the wonderful comment. So good to hear from you. Yes, I think it would look good made into a triptych, too. I must give it a whirl.
