My Beauty Is Fading Away
Written by CarolM 8-2010

My beauty is fading away each day
With each bright sunlight ray

My youth, my life will soon be gone
I fear it won’t be long

I’m losing my color and feeling tired
I’ll no longer be desired

I’m trying hard to accept my plight
I’m reaching for the guiding light.

When I reach the other side
I’ll regain my beauty and my pride

I’ll live beneath the tree of life
And forever will be a delight

My beauty is fading away each day
But a new life is coming my way
