This is a composite of several images along with some digital manipulation.
The sailor is my father who served in the Korean War and World War II. He served on the naval ship shown in the image. He didn’t like to talk about his experiences because it caused too much pain. He, lilke many others who have served, paid a price for our freedom. Never forget what they gave up.
I am happy to share my vision with you and I hope that it touches you in some small way.

What a fantastic photo and tribute to your beloved father!! I hope everyone takes a little time to remember all these men. My father was a WWII sailor who served onboard the Destroyer Beale DD214. I salute your father, and all who gave so much to preserve and ensure our freedom!!!!!!!!
