And the Rain Came

The rain came one Spring day suprising all the flowers.
It fell in soft sheets, from a partly cloudy sky. The delicate flower pedals grew weak and began to droop from the weight. It seemed to last for hours.

When the rain finally ceased, the sun returned with its soft warm rays to dry out the rain soaked pedals. The flowers began to perk up and reach for the sky. I could almost hear them sigh.

The rain came on one Spring day and the sun chased it away.
