A happy German people is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the fall of the wall! To me as a born Berliner the fall of the Berlin wall was one of the happiest moments in my entire life!

thank you so much, Shoaib, for your compliments! I’m very glad you like it. Indeed, it was a day of graet joy for us in Germany. For me as a born Berliner it was amazing to see the fall of the wall in my home town with all the people standing and rejoycing on the wall.

oh WOW…. that’s what I said when I saw this. This artwork is just amazing! And not only that, but what inspired you to paint this is equally as amazing. A very important time in the history of Germany – I remember well the fall of the Berlin wall because it was during the year I was born ;D Yes, I was just a baby but when I learned of this in school I thought it was really amazing and that it occurred in 1989.
I can only sit here and ask how it was when it actually occurred…
