There’s the famous “Linum Stork Village” in Germany in the Federal State of Brandenburg, just a couple of km from my home town.It’s an annual tourist attraction for birdwatchers. Every spring around 13 couples of storks return from Africa building their nests on top of the church tower or the roofs of the village’s houses. The picturesque landscape around Linum with lots of inland waters,meadows, forests and a large variety of birds, among them crancs and wild geese are an attraction for all nature lovers.
