Love it! Red grabs my attention every time. :)
This is really beautiful, subtle and exquisite artwork, deserved feature.
thank you so much, Alixzandra!
Beautiful, what is a gutti line in silk painting? I have never tried silk painting but have tried to find every example of it and batik I could find as research.
thank you! You don’t see a gutta line in this painting, because I painted this one in watercolor technique. Gutta lines are used as a kind of barrier to stop the flow of silk dye on silk. They look like the golden lines you often apply in your works. If you go to one of my silk paintings called “Fall of the Wall” in my RB gallery , then you’ ll see what I mean. I used golden and grey gutta in that painting.Another silk painting of mine with gutta is “Lady in Blue”. The outlines of the lady were drawn with black gutta. Or you can have a look at some of my christmas cards, where I used yellow gutta as outlines.
