This beautiful romantic garden in the French village of Giverny inspired me to this impressionist silk painting. The village is actually famous for its artist Claude Monet who lived there, too. Although I was impressed by Monet’s lovely huge garden with its famous pond and the waterlilies ,I fell in love with that unknown property shown in my silkpainting. That quiet and enchanted place mesmerized me at once: the romantic old house with its windows framed by climbing plants and abundantly blossoming flowers in any shade of colour.
