Walk in the mountains as old as time itself
Air crisp as diamonds
silence deep
A branch breaks, and the sound resounds
cracking the space
a chandelier crashing
to shatter the wind into a million pieces
Walk down to the river, with water like ice,
the taste of silver on your tongue
You bend down and cup your hand
taking a draught to your lips
and drink deep of its vitality
You slide in, your skin tingling at the chill sensation
Your mind explodes with clarity and thought
You find yourself again.

Love that last line…....it seems a never ending circle…

That vicious circle of putting all of yourself into others …then remembering that you exist as well…

No matter how enlightened we become, we still return to investing our self into others. Perhaps it is the human condition.

And that is good Lisa ..it is what makes us human. But to do that we need to be strong in ourselves…
When I began my training, I remember a tutor saying that we had to look after ourselves to be well enough to look after others …and I feel that rings true in all aspects of life and communication.

Absolutely, I know the mantra well ;)
It is one of those truisms that sadly tend to fall by the way sideā¦.at least that is what I observe.

And that is exactly when you need to take yourself out, and find yourself again.
It is just recognising that time has approached.
The circle closes.
