Somebody just BMed me asking what settings I used for this..so thought I’d share..
Pentax with Sigma lens: f4; 1/1500sec; ISO 200 shot in RAW, Manual mode
Processed in Lightroom…covert to grayscale (Not desaturated) and added purple and magenta.

Garnish with fog..plenty of it…serve in a frame :)

Fantastic! There’s almost a gray-ish looking texture-y film over this
(particularly on the sides of the frame) but I think that’s attractive.

For you see I have been looking all year for a picture like this of a tree with the fog or rain coming in behind it
I wrote this Poem in 2006 and I went back to the place to get a picture of the tree that I had written it to and as is the way of councils it had been “Pruned” for the power-lines.
But this tree fit’s my memory so perfectly May I also link my poem with it?
