Just completed my first commission work, what do you all think. It is roughly 80cm x 50cm. I quoted $400. Good price? Too low, took longer than expected.
Ended up getting $500, that just what my friend gave me, I fixed Diggers (the little boy) face up a bit to this image and she was stoked!

Well I would charge anything from that to $600 Have you given them a price first? is it framed? I always quote includes frames.As I said before you can’t really charge for how long, I can sometimes do a whole large oil in 2 hours depends on what it is sometimes it take weeks so overall size is what I go for.

just like to add…I think you need a bit of shadow on tthe grass to the left of the figures and on the verandah posts as you have shadow on the floorboards but other wise great painting!
