"were did all the water go"
Oil Painting. One of the Lakes near home dried up and the result (especially at dusk) was surreal. A lot of fish died.

Global warming?
Is the planet getting drier? Australia is in a drought, but is it a cycle? The country has had drought before.
Lake Boga currently has no water. The fish died and the children have to go else where to swim.
The Lake will fill again, once there is water in the catchment.
Once the water is restored in the catchment everyone will forget the drought?
If there is a message in this painting it would be water saving Everyone on every level has to adobt water saving measures into their every day, regardless of supply.
Climate change, less water on the planet, I think there will be more dry periods, more common.
Measures such as rain water tanks, using water wisely, choosing drought resistant plants (native plants also good for native birds) will help.
Farming to make use of water when it comes. We have had summer rain and we welcome it for we grow native pastures, such as salt bush for our sheep.

This could be used to illustrate global warming

if it would make a difference to the way we humans use up every resource we can get our hands on and hurt the planet whilst using the resources then I would love for it it used for that.

important social comment and especially when it represents something right in front of you. The dimensional depth achieved in the background is superb.
