Hi to all,

I hope you’ll excuse my English grammar, orthography and spelling, French being my first tongue and English my second.
I live in a small town called Mercier just 30 min.out of the big Island, Montréal being the biggest city in the Province of Quebec (the only french speaking province of Canada), married for 39 years to the same man and have 2 grown adult daughters.

My work as a travel agent is my second career since 15 years.
I am an autodidact artist self taught (genetics also has something to do with it) artist painter (acrylic on canvas and oil on canvas ), I’m also a maniac of gardening, I must of read about 10,000 pages of gardening books,reviews, internet sites on the subject in the past 3 years lol

My love for traveling, gardening and nature overall, took me to photo amateur shooting for the last 25 years or more, what I try and love to do, is bring emotions to the people that view my work, may it be… photo, painting, or gardening…I hope one day…to be able to expose my photo work and look anonymously, to the people’s faces, reactions and comments, he he he!

Camera: HP Photosmart R927- 8.2 megapixels- 4x optical zoom. (would like to upgrade to a Cannon D700 ), when I have the money, some day…

Editing 1: I prefer to try and take the very best photos subjects that I can, on the spot and learn from my errors, so I do not use Photo Shop to enhance my photos, but I some time use a program called Photo Suite 7 if some photos need a little cropping or a little more lighting.

Editing 2: Like the saying tells “Only fools never change idea…” . Finally after writing this profile I taught just for fun that I would try some alterations on a photo of a orchid, that I called “Carmen Miranda” and that you can see in my portfolio.

I hope you all enjoy looking at my photos as much as I like taking them, have a good visit and enjoy!
