Zebra Cantering Across The Swamp

Carole-Anne

Campbelltown, Australia

Artist's Description

Two of the 200 plus strong herd of Zebra (Plains or Savanna or Common Zebra, Equus quagga) which we watched as they crossed the marsh early morning to get to a grazing site. Amboseli National Pak, Kenya, East Africa.
It was a beautiful start to the day, with total quiet except for a few bird calls and the slosh, slosh, slosh of the water as they cantered across.
Canon 500D, zoom lens.
