Elderly man, one of the faithful at the Buddhist Memorial Chorten built in 1974 in memory of the 3rd King of Bhutan, HM Jigme Dorje Wangchuck, Thimphu, Central Bhutan, Eastern Himalayas. Asia. His red lips are due to the chewing of beetle nut.’He is wearing the Bhutanese traditional costume for men, called the Gho.
