Artist's Description

The baby is comforted by holding onto his mother in the jungle, Semenggoh Rehabilitation Center, Sarawak, East Malaysia, Borneo, South East Asia. Orangutans, Pongo pygmaeus, are highly endangered due to habitat destruction mainly due to the establishment of Palm Oil plantations. If we all stopped buying food and other products which include palm oil there would be a chance of saving these amazing animals.
Canon 450D, zoom lens.
