African Elephants in the Landscape, Tanzania by

African Elephant, Loxodonta Africana, in the vast landscape of Serengeti National park, Tanzania, East Africa. Being the largest land mammal and looking so small, gives some sense of the breadth of the Serengeti Plains and the vastness of the African sky.
African elephants normally live in large family groups lead by the matriach. The groups are made up of females, babies and adolescents. They are the largest land animal.
