Photo of GrandMothers Guitar bought new in 1936 and the roses blended, manipulated with itself.
Inspired by Tchaikovsky’s Melancholy Serenade.
I used to listen to it on an Edison Upright..78 rpm record.
Every dark, dreary, rainy day… I would just have to complete the mood by cranking up the old Edison & playing the Melancholy Serende.
Tchaikovsky poured every ounce of his soul into playing it.
The player is now in the local Museum..the owner told me I can come anytime & play my favorite tune. I do miss it..with all of it’s popping & hissing mixed into the violin as it cried so much pain.
