this is quite sensational CarmelH – so surreal in colour, and love the depth and light… what a remarkable landscape!
Thanks Paul……its also surreal actually being there and seeing this view….the most gorgeous desert that have been to and so glad that was able to capture some of the beauty…..appreciate your comment :)
Has an alien landscape feel………………………I think this is one of your best.
Wow….one of my best……will have to give thanks to the real beauty of the Jordan Desert!!!! Such a special place, but will share in the credit….lol Thanks :)
Wonderful capture Carmelh, I think the power of this image is derived from the fact that so many viewers in any place in the world can relate to it and it brings images and memories from stories, fantasies, movies, books etc. Be it an alien landscape or a western desert with cowboys and Indians.. You captured the essence of this landscape and in a way that is appealing and beautiful.. It does have a soft, paint like quality to it too.. A wonderful landscape of Jordan to be shared with the Art of the Middle East group.
This is gorgeous such a pleasure to look at….i wish i could go back to Israel..i miss her so much!!!!! I never had time to visit anywhere in the Jordon but wish i could it looks so my kind of place, peaceful, quiet and spectacular…well done!
It is so very much a magical place and would give my right arm to go back and spend time in the Jordan desert, the prettiest desert that have ever been in……and thanks so much for your comments!!
Wow, I would LOVE to see this landscape in real life! What a glorious scene!
Well….next RB meet should be in Jordan…..first stop the Jordan desert and second Petra…..would guarantee you would love it so much and your images from there would so blow us all away!!!

It reminds me of the old western sets I kind of expect John Wayne to come riding round the corner – very nice work
