Exhibition and talk - Photographs from the edge
Robert Ashton has had a 40 year fascination with the edge of our continent – where the land meets the water. The exhibition will be the images taken over his 40 years and he will be giving a talk at 3pm on Saturday Jan 9th.

On my way home
After a huge dilemma re staying in the Uk longer or going home….. I have decided that I’m flying out on Sunday!!! Was a huge decision as I have loved my time over here and could stay here so much longer!!! But…..with weather over here after a mild week it’s dropping to 11 degrees with rain! And on top of that I would have to pay $600 to stay!!! So that made the decision much easier…so on…
I'm in love with Bath!!
It’s so going to be hard to leave the uk. First fall in love with St Ives and surrounding areas. Then it was Port Isaac….where Doc Martin is based and shot. Now it’s Bath and it’s surrounding areas like Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar gorge. Had left but had to return!! To make Bath even mire amazing am staying in a gorgeous central area right next to the Baths and Abbey.

Well have been away 2 weeks now and had such a great time! No posts yet but will try and get some of my images up at some stage. Can’t believe my trip to the UK has come around so quickly. Must say I haven’t uploaded anything for ages or commented much as been so focused on getting affairs in order and organising my trip.
Well, my bags are packed and only a few small last minute things to do, and a long lunch and a few wines with some girlfriends…a must do before leave the country!

Life works in mysterious ways
I had lost contact with a dear friend that had travelled with in 2000, in Sth America and later in England and Scotland. We were tent buddies in Argentina america, hiked in patagonia, met up later in Bolivia, hiked in the Lakes District and in scotland and finished off with her friends near Skye. We built up such an amazing friendship but for various reasons we had lost contact.

Melanoma Cancer Sucks!
Heard very sad news yesterday that my friend Nat lost her battle with Melanoma Cancer on Sunday night. So cut down in her prime age of 40, with so many dreams still to be lived. I am still in disbelief that Nat is truly gone, and words can’t descibe how I and so many of her friends will miss seeing her smilling face and having a good laugh at life.

Trip to London
I am soooo excited. I have just booked a trip to London having stop overs both ways in Malaysia. On the way over will have 3 nights in KL and on the way back 5 nights in Langkawi. Will have a month in London staying with my bro and two very cute nieces and will be visiting surrounding areas and friends.
Just have a countdown of 10 weeks now….
