A few barely living River Red Gums flooded by one of the many lakes in the Hattah-Kulkine National Park. All of the lakes were flooded when I was last there and many of the roads were inpassible.

Hi, I’m an amateur photographer living in the Dandenong Ranges area – around an hours drive (on a good day!) from Melbourne, Australia.
My main camera is a Canon EOS 350D DSLR and while most of my work is digital, I love to work with film when possible.
Photography is a real passion for me and I endeavor to keep learning new techniques; RedBubble really helps my photography improve and spurs things along.

Beautiful image, I love flood images, but not floods that do harm to homes etc. This is a great composition and a fave for me

I think we are too hard on ourselves or we just don’t get what everyone likes! I put up ones I think are amazing and nothing, then i’ll put up one i’m not 100% sure on and it’s a hit, guess i’ve got a lot to learn about photography and judging!! lol Congrats. on your feature and keep on posting your images, it’s one way to learn! :)

  • Yeah, I think you could be right! Thats what happened here and the storm shot at the Prom hasn’t had the response I had hoped for if I’m honest. Oh well, hoping to add more over the long weekend – the more the merrier! Thanks once more Robyn!!!
