Ok Carly, this is both wierd and engaging. I do not think I would have shot this photo this way, and I would have suffered a loss for not having done it. It really is a grim photo – it evokes a lot of emotion. I might want to call it “dead man’s hands” Really neat – nice choice for DOF – it really makes the hands jump out and grab you, me, the audience. As close to 3D as we are going to see.
thank you for your comment ed..i didnt realy know if i liked it enough to post it.. but its growing on me..and i like the way it turned out now..the reason i shot it like this was because i wanted to capture the grime of the fingernails and the rough looking hands..
Great lighting and colour, or non-colour. Focus works very nice too.
