He Went That Way! by

CAMERA: NIKON D90
LENS: SIGMA APO 150-500mm @ 500mm

Male hooded merganser momentarily stands on the water as he flaps his wings. Male hooded mergansers may hold their “hood” directly up, flat against the nape of the neck, or any point between, as this one demonstrated.

Taken near Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada.

I’m a retired stationary engineer who lives on British Columbia’s scenic Sunshine Coast, which although on the mainland, can only be accessed by water or air – just the way we Coasters like it!

Wildlife and nature photography is my hobby and passion. My primary camera is a Nikon D90 and most of these photos are taken with a Nikkor AF-S 70-300mm VR lens.

I appreciate and try to answer all sincere comments.
