Carina grew up in the country approximately 30 minutes from London, Ontario. There she was inspired by all things beautiful around her, but wanted to explore the beauty of humanity. She found that photographs can truly tell a story about every person. At a very young age, she became glued to her camera. Even though models were limited on the farm, she enjoyed taking photos of herself and her friends.
“Photography is the longest love of my life”
Now, at the age 21, Carina has completed her photographic studies at Sir Sandford Fleming College, has several photographs published in books, magazines, and online- and continues to share her love of photography with everyone she meets. Although it has been over 15 years since Carina picked up her very first camera, not a lot has changed: she still photographs friends and family, captures the beauty of humanity, and encourages everyone to “break the rules” of photography. She is well versed on the standards of professional photography, but loves to loop out and make sure those special moments – where nobody was paying attention to the photographer, but just living their lives – are captured.
