I just couldn’t find an angle to shoot this and thought that all of the shots I had were pretty much useless. I was just so surprised when I saw this one … that was the keeper! Glad you like it.
This is wonderful Caroline. Such a lovely composition and a very natural looking shot!
Thank you Ursula … I actually did very little to it except take out a weird reflection on the handle of the spoon otherwise pretty much as is.
Love the natural light here! How many more to go to get to your calendar.
Thank you Vikram … two to go and my mom has already given me a really good suggestion for one of them. She’s really getting into it seeing that she’ll probably end up with a copy of it next year!!

Amazing amazing body of work. Such simple subject matter yet you seem to make it look so interesting. Light, composition and texture. All I can say is you inspire me to look at the simple, easily overlooked things in a whole new light. Thank you.
Wow thank you so very much John for that kind comment. I have to say that it is quite fitting of my personality as the smallest things amuse me. Even when I travel, I am quite fascinated by the daily life and that is always what I remember most and not the huge tourist attractions. Glad you like my work! Thanks again.
I love this candid yet carefully composed image, it is wonderful!Congratulations on your feature in Still Life and Food Photography
Thank you so very much Sharon
