Coffee Beans by Caroline Fournier

Greeting Cards & Postcards

Taken on my dining room table in natural light. Inspired again by my love of cooking … there was no way that I was going to pass the opportunity to throw in coffee beans.

Not really something I cook with obviously but I do pick weekends where I cook up a storm for two days and freeze everything. That means up early in the morning, brew a large pot of coffee, barefoot with a comfortable pair of jeans, music and my favorite cookbooks. The makings of a perfect day.

Also available at Zazzle including as a business card ideal for a coffee house or cafe

Weekends at your place sound magical…..

  • It’s actually become part of my new year’s resolution … cook and freeze things for lunch (much healthier and cheaper). My staff laugh at me because I always this jar thawing on my desk and after a while I can never remember what I actually made. It’s always a surprise.

LOL – I must confess that is exactly what I’ve been doing for the past couple of years. Cook up a storm on weekends, freeze some and thaw as I go. Ditto for the music. The only diff is a bottle of wine or a long drink in place of the coffee.

    PS: Beautiful pic :-)

  • Aww great minds think alike … and if I didn’t start cooking early in the morning it would definitely be a nice Merlot (or a glass of Cuban rhum …mmmm). People might start talking if I start drinking in the morning!!

Great shot! And so is cooking :-). Got a lovely recipe of a rich white chocolade ice cream infused with coffe beans. Interesting taste, while still remaining a gently yellowish white coloured ice cream. Interested? =)

  • Thank you Peter. Glad you like it … the ice cream sounds absolutely amazing!!

  • Thank you Christine … yes definitely a calendar item. I wish I had enough coffee stuff to just do a calendar on that. We’ll see … maybe by the end of the year I will.
