This is not something that I normally do but this is a photo of my cat, Charlotte. I rarely take photos of her because she always has that tortured look on her face whenever I subject her to it. I have had her for over fourteen years (I rescued her when she was three weeks old) and it is amazing how little photos I actually have of her. So once in a while I’ll do something like this. This was shot in my kitchen right in front of my patio door. It was quite sunny and so she is essentially backlit. The only post processing done is that I made a slight levels adjustment to increase the contrast and give it even more of a high key look to it.
