This is a reveal of one of my bundles for the DisCo project. It was left out to weather for 3 months and was exposed to heat, humidity, drenching rain, and bright Florida sunlight. I think it makes an interesting collage just as it is.

Materials Used:

Artist Canvas

Vintage photos – approximately 80 years old from a family album. I used them in the project because I don’t know the subjects except for the man in the bathing suit which was my maternal grandfather. That photo was taken prior to my grandparent’s marriage and I don’t know the woman he’s pictured with.

Magazine Paper
Book Pages stained with coffee
Assorted Flowers and Leaves
Hemp Cord

What a marvellous idea! Taking a picture of change that will also change over time. Will there be another in the summer?

  • Thank you! Yes, there surely will be. This isn’t my first, if you take a look through my work you’ll find others that were a result of my participation in the DisCo project. : )

    It’s a work of art in itself….amazing bundle Caren….

  • Thanks, Janis. I really loved it as it was so I carefully removed and then re-attached the components using matte gel medium. I re-tied some of the cord and sprayed with a matte acrylic finish. I should take another photo. I have more things from this bundle to play with. This was the bottom layer.
