This painting is about women…being one myself…I found the inspiration to paint that feeling of hiding in plain sight. Where it can feel easier to sink into the background…keeping the inner self hidden…..from harm…from risks….from the world.
But ..really…wanting to bring that hidden woman out to the surface..not be afraid.. but just be.
