I started this pastel drawing with the figure just wanting to see if I could still reconstruct the human figure from memory to any decent degree and found that I could roughly approximate the basic form’s and proportion’s but the reason I wanted to do it was only to have a recognisable humanoid form in the act of creation,
The original is rather bland compared to the reworked version.

I’ve always just loved art and my MO, is simply to produce art that I find interesting and that satisfies my own sense of what is aesthetically pleasing, but very much enjoy sharing what I’ve done with other artist’s and the world whenever possible, this is why I joined RB and it certainly hasn’t disappointed.

    well done, really tripping over the colors, I really like it

  • Thank’s, I was surprised at how easily the color’s fell into place, actualy it look’s a bit manga-ish, not really what I wanted exactly but I still like it::}}

    I like the way the figure seems to be reaching into the “Eye of Creation”. and really LOVE the swirl pattern and how it wraps the planes of the figure. I declare the Experiment a sucess!! great palette too.

  • I accept and acknowledge your declaration that this experiment has been a success!! and here’s hoping that the eye of creation has recovered from my figure’s probing elbow’s!….ouch::}}
