Just a bit of fun.
Made up out of part of an old drawing of an imaginary prehistoric fish, then mirrored in Photoshop where I finished it off with a bit of tweeking using the clone stamp, smudge, burn and dodge tool’s.
The tittle is ironic ofcourse, I think this is the ugliest thing I’ve ever come up with.

I’ve always just loved art and my MO, is simply to produce art that I find interesting and that satisfies my own sense of what is aesthetically pleasing, but very much enjoy sharing what I’ve done with other artist’s and the world whenever possible, this is why I joined RB and it certainly hasn’t disappointed.

Well I am trying really really hard to find the “beauty” ironically so…..

  • Maybe sarcastic would be a more appropriate term, although in the original drawing I vaguely remember intending to create some beautifuly exotic fantasy fish but ended up with a horrible looking thing with an exoskeleton, so maybe that’s where I get the irony from.

WOWWWW . . . beauty in the eye of the beholder . . . nicely crafted C. very fruit bat tish and those gills . . . you know I love em. I think your creature and my creature might live in the same waters. :))

  • Pity the poor fisherman who cast’s into those water’s!! I know what you mean about the fruit bat look, I want to try to make a whole creature out of this thing, should’nt be to hard I’ll just start out with something beautiful in mind and end up with the most hideous thing ever to be seen on RB! Thank’s for the comment:::))

I actually got kind of a thing for prehistoric fish…
So yeah, I can absolutely see the beauty.

Whatever anyone thinks about the aesthetic, this is an awesome piece of mixed art creativity and the eye contact is totally captivating.
