PERMANENT FEATURE PAGE: Animal Kingdom
Thanks so much Pat its a real pleasure to have been chosen to have my work added to your permanent feature page, I really appreciate it.
wow, brilliant, love it x
Love this dog’s expression – well done!! Congrats on being featured :)
Thanks Janice, it’s one of my personal fav’s precisely because of the expression, glad you like it!
such a powerful stillness here. that expresion is soo priceless. Your handling of the medium to achieve the fur . . . . is beyond words. love it!!
Thank’s, and yeah the expression is what define’s this dog’s overall personality as she was allway’s keeping a whatchfull eye on her companion, “Angel.”, who’s a real rebel. The owner actualy placed the two portrait’s with this one on the left so she could keep a perPETual eye on the other,lol, thank’s for your kind word’s about the fur but I cheated slightly by making heavy use of alot of finely cut peice’s of eraser, thank’s for your lovely comment Y, it’s allway’s good to have your feedback::))
I can feel her fur :) I appreciate your realism….my favorite style!
Yeah I know, it’s one of my more tactile drawing’s, probably because I actually met the dog’s and got to play around with them for a while, thank’s::}}
So much detail I am just Blown Away!
Thank’s, for the cool comment!::}}
dogs are so loving if?taken care of with love, they give you 10 times more back
Absolutely true Madvlad! The woman who owned these adorable dog’s was and still is well deserving of thier obedience to her!::}}
All of your art is exceptionally well done! I’m envious! I really like your German Shepherds they are are some of my most favorite of dogs. They are such great companion dogs and can be protective as well.
Thank’s Vivian, but don’t be to envious as for the past two year’s I’ve had next to no time to produce this kind of drawing :( What you say about German Shephard’s ring’s true as the woman for whom I did these portrait’s was nearing retirement age and living alone so her precious companion’s also provided her with protection if ever needed as well and they still do as far as I know, thank you for your lovely compliment’s::}}
These drawings must take so much time and attention. I am always impressed by this style and this is no exception though I am partial to German Shepherds as I had one growing up. Brilliant!
Your not wrong!, in fact I havn’t had time to do a drawing like this for over a year now and I’m missing it greatly. Glad your a fan of this kind of drawing, allmost all my commissioned work’s are of this kind although there are very few people willing to fork out a few hundred dollar’s for a nice old fashioned drawing these day’s. These German Shepherd’s were a joy to meet both completely different in personality but perfectly suited as companion’s for each other and thier owner.Thank’s for having a look and leaving a word here Solarbear:}
Thank you very much Larry! :}
