Do you remember going to Ocean Shores and digging for clams?

Thank you mom and dad for giving these memories to us so that we are able to dream
Thinking of these memories gives me peace

Do you remember making sand candles?

Remember renting the scooters and flying kites and how we would stomp on the holes in the sand and how exciting it was to see the sand react with a squirt of water!

Maybe you were too young, maybe not; it was fun, frenzied and joyful.

Sometimes memories as young children are forgotten but in my opinion we all hold on to those wonderful times that are very special somewhere in our hearts and souls. Somewhere these memories exist and keep us filled with the knowledge that life is all about those unexpected experiences of excitement when we take the next step.

I’ve never dug for clams or made sand candles or rented scooters, but it sure sounds exciting. Childhood does hold some happy memories. Mine was horse riding.

  • Thank you Hillie for your comment and for your sharing…I always wanted a horse by the way…
