(Message posted on Facebook photo I took of my niece and nephew this year at his “homecoming” in Tacoma, Washington at Joint Base Lewis McChord—My niece Elizabeth is so young and so is my nephew they are both so strong and they both are so brave I admire them so much fo all that they must face in our world.

Thank you both for your strength and thank you not letting this world of ours get you down but for showing us all how to lift us up to another world that is much better and new.

I love your both so much

Cara Schingeck-So good to see brother and sister happy knowing he has come home from the war. Thank you Dale for serving our country. I love you both

Cara Schingeck-That was a wonderful day seeing Dale come home I am so glad that I was able to capture their smiles in this photograph. Thank you mom, Betty for sharing it and reminding us all how important family is I love you

Only too proud to honor them. I was born on that base 60 years ago when my career Army Dad was a younbg soldier there.

    Super fantastic work!!

please make sure to thank them both for dealing with the trials of service. much appreciated by many of us

  • I will by replying to your comment—Thank you for your comment for your thoughtfulness your words of support and kindness towards my family my niece my nephew who both served in our war, my nephew for his service as a soldier and my niece for her loving support to her brother for though I choose my words carefully here…you see as a sister of a soldier I know that I never felt for myself that my support of my brother was ever a “service” or a “duty” but something I wanted to do something I must do because I felt he needed me, maybe this is what my brother felt as well, yes I believe my brother and so maybe as well my nephew felt this too not to speak for him but it was his duty to serve our country. So thank you for your comment and because my comments are posted on my Facebook page my neice will see them, my family and the public too to honor their love for one another and my nephews servicd to our country. I love you Dale and Elizabeth.
