IT TAKES THE COURAGE AND STRENGTH OF A WARRIOR TO ASK FOR HELP... by

I hold a stress ball given to me by COL. Mike Johnson retired from the Washington National Guard now Executive Director of the Lakewood YMCA still in charge of Joint Service Support (J9) at Camp Murray in Tacoma, WA which provides support and services to our soldiers and veterans and military families the ball reads IT TAKES THE COURAGE AND STRENGTH OF A WARRIOR TO ASK FOR HELP… 1-800-273-8255 (TALK) press 1 for veterans

I interviewed COL. Mike Johnson for an article that is soon to be published (awaiting a release form for the photos that I took) I doubt that I would have been compelled to interview him unless my brother was deployed in our war. The stress upon military families is great and the stress upon our soldiers is great.

This photograph was taken using my web cam and many photos were taken and I chose one for my brother during his deployment as one that I posted as a profile image while he was away from us—I wanted to reassure him, to send him a message.

I just wanted to share this image, for me it is still relevant. You see he is home now and it is still important.

This is all I have to say now.

I love you Herold

send me the link to the article … I worked with the CDN military for 10 years as a consultant/trainer attempting to motivate them on per-training and post-incident psychological support … so little has been done and so much needs to be in place. Forgotten casualties … soldiers, partners, kids, parents and friends of the military.
    Peace
