today, January 27, 2012-Thoughts for today

You served, sacrificed, dedicated yourself to country and family and to others you did not know to help make our world a better place—Your leadership has given me so much, you are a leader, an officer and a gentleman who I admire with the hope that I someday may learn from your example

Thank you for all that you have done because even though I am still learning you can know this, my brother, that your life continues to give meaning to mine and nothing is ever wasted because so many ways that one never knows are there to show that your life has made a difference

&

Thank God you are home to continue to give back to others, to lead and to show me how it is done.

November 14, 2011 Today I have hope—Remembering what my mom says—Today is a new day

11/11/11: Veteran’s Day message to my brother and all who served their country in our war_Thank you_

I show to you an image that I took of my brother during one of our Skype conversations. He did not know that I took this but it shows how he struggled with decisions he had to make in war as he shared with me some of those hard choices. All of us are trying to understand what is happening and figure it out and this image for me for right now is what is the best example of how I feel right now.

An inspirational performance artist, musician deserving recognition living here in Tacoma, Washington whose words, music and life story really have reached out to me today, LeRoy Bell

war changes people in a big way..they never come back the same…great capture Cara

  • True, your comment that, “war changes people in a big way..they never come back the same” I would be disappointed in my brother if he came back unchanged by his war experience. Thank you for your comment

Soldiers are paid to kill people..a very sad thing to be happening..NO REASON in my mind can justify killing for any government

  • Your comment indicates to me you know nothing about art and cannot speak about art if you were an artist you would know this about me and my work my tribut to my brother is not to be a forum for others political statements http://www.redbubble.com/people/carasinjak/jour...
