Good God, Let me hear you it’s a happy day! Thank you to those great people who give hope and heart and passion to our troops and to me here now as I listen to this song of a happy day knowing that my brother went to many services in Camp Arifjan, (located in the State of Kuwait) to find joy, love, and life in war they gave him service grace in his time of service in Operation Iraqi Freedom others gave him moments of freedom and here now I say thank you for your service to my brother, I love you for what you gave to him, you saved him

H, I created this just for you.

I was out in my garden and thinking about you over there; I wanted to share with you the beautiful day, clean air, clouds floating overhead—to show you that I was thinking of you, soon you will be home, and visiting with me in my garden and looking up at the sky here with me—we will share in this view.

Here are clouds of joy, happiness, and love for you so that you know that I am thinking of you always, so that when those storms hit where you are you know that you are not alone

Location: Tacoma, Washington, United States

A very pleasant change and really warm thoughts with it :-))

  • Thank you for your feedback. By a pleasant change I am interpreting you to say that I have been sharing a more serious side of my experience, my interpretation and what I have learned in Our War, during my Our War project—you are correct I suppose, there are so many important issues I want to speak to and that I feel deeply about, however, I also feel that it is necessary to focus on positive thoughts and feelings…as you said, “warm thoughts”. Thank you for commenting on my work, my tribute to my brother

  • You know, after reading what I just wrote I realized that all I had to say was "Thank you and yes, it is a pleasant change. I am feeling like a change because I want to focus on the positive. There is so much junk in the news these days. So much negative garbage that on this day I woke up determined to create something beautiful. So, I went to my photo files and I finally created “this” which was on my ‘to do’ list for my brother since I would say Easter and I finally did it because he is always on my mind and even though I do have a life that keeps going, my life really does not keep going without him being part of it, he is always part of my life as I know he is part of his wife’s life and his families, my nieces and nephew’s—everday of their lives, even though they act like their lives keep going their lives really don’t go another minute without him in it.

And that is good because he is good and he adds such a positive energy to all of our lives.
