U.S and Iraqi Army Soldiers working and training together in Iraq.
My painting today was inspired by a Department of Defense video I viewed that told the story of U.S. army and Iraqi Army Soldiers working and training together. In the video I saw today the Soldiers were taking a combat bridge apart in order to get hands on training.
I made a portrait of a U.S. Officer and an Iraqi Officer observing and working together on the training

I like the way the bottom and the top of the work is treated differently, the faces are gentle and the bodies and uniforms are linear…great work
Thank you Julie-Ann.
