I wrote “WHO IS RESPONSIBLE” as an addition to my photograph that I took this December 2010 as my husband and I drove through a park that was lit up with the seasons lights and all I could think of was that my brother was not with his family and not here to see these lights or take his children to see them…all I could think of was taking as many photos as I could of the light show that was sponsored by companies to promote their businesses that I presume are on the brink of failure…the economy…but that I did not think of what I could only think of at the moment that I took so many, many photos of these holiday lights that I would have in the past sat back and enjoyed…all I could think of was getting as many as I could so I could send them to my brother who cannot see them this year, this holiday season, this Christmas, this year.

All the words you use have a meaning for you and there must be a connection for you with this shot – but I do not see it in the photo

  • Thank you for your comment. You make a very good point. There is a connection for me that I did not make clear, the “Our War” series which is also in my portfolio on Redbubble that begins with my portrait of my brother at http://www.redbubble.com/people/carasinjak/art/... will explain. Thank you again for bringing this to my attention and for your valuable feedback
