Black and white photograph of a tree, sky, leaves taken as I walked through a park and took the time to look up…my inspiration.

Remember walking through the parks and looking up at the trees? This tree lives in Seattle, Washington.
Do you remember “tree spinning”?
The trees could be anywhere, our backyard forest which was a wonderland, a stop along the way, a campground, a picnic with family we never met before but we drove days, hours to get to go see and so we left them behind to talk about their memories and we went to the nearest park and when we saw a tree we would stand underneath it and spin in a circle…it was just like a wonderful, natural, vibrant kaleidoscope.
What made it better than a toy our parents gave us though is that we made it all our selves and we made it in each and every place we went to so every tree was special.
