UPDATE: 11/16/2011 let’s not forget our soldiers/veterans/people living in Kuwait who live and breathe this air…consider what this means, think about it. Have you heard much about this in the media? I haven’t.
MEDIUM: mixed-media graphite pencil, charcoal, Conte crayon, pastel chalk, colored pencil and ink pen on bond paper.
INSPIRATION: My inspiration for today was to create a drawing of what our war may really be about which is what I have been learning from many sources is that there are soldiers in our war breathing toxic fumes that are polluting the air in our world. Our soldiers are breathing these fumes on a daily basis and I have not read any news on this in our war reporting by our media.
Our soldiers are not only fighting insurgents they are fighting to breathe.
So are the people living in the country that our soldiers are there to help so that our soldiers can come home.
Our soldiers and the civilians are fighting a battle and a battle of terrorism in more ways than one in my opinion the more I find out the more I must consider how far reaching and how long lasting our war will be on all of us.
