Remember when we were just kids living at the house by the beach and we would go with dad to the boat house?
We would wait while dad would visit with the other fishermen who were waiting too for their boats to be lowered into the cold water of the Puget Sound.
We would run down the old wooden planked bridge until someone would yell, “slow down!” to get to the beach and underneath that boat house.
How mysterious and wondrous it was under there.
Remember how safe we felt underneath in our own world all ours just us?
Remember how it was ours alone to explore?
Remember how all we had to do was just imagine…just consider what was there for us, what was happening, what was this great place underneath this world of voices and sounds with the bright sunlight streaming through those old wooden planks of the boat house.
The life of the sea at our feet and the water all around us and in front of us…so many possibilities…
