FEATURED in Welcome to Washington
I was just here my wonderful brother. We went here for my birthday this year. It has now been almost a year since you have left us. You are soon to return to us. How wonderful it will be to see here with us. I love you.
We were near the John Wayne Trail in the Spring of 2010.
Remembering is for me like watching the raindrops and their beauty-their simplicity. It may not occur for some at the time that a raindrop is a moment to remember. Because a feeling, like a raindrop is soggy, but if you look past the external condition and instead look deep inside yourself you realize another reality.
All of us have a very special type of clarity that is unique-a moment that one may never forget that will stay with us forever.
Consider this…an experience of a raindrop, sounds, smells, mist in the air…do you feel that it is inside you…do you feel that it is all around you…do you feel that it will be with you wherever you go, wherever you are even into the present?
If you have ever experienced this then you realize that you are in the midst of a unique, special and worthwhile moment.
You will remember.
I feel that this is why life is similar or symbolic to raindrops or digging for clams.
Remember Clam Digging?
Do you remember going to Ocean Shores and digging for clams?
We have a choice to hold onto to our memories as well as hold onto the present and create new memories for the future… for me all of this is what makes for a wonderful life.
