I am an amateur photographer and mostly enjoy capturing images of the natural environment, especially wildlife and their natural habitats. I gain most of my inspiration from exploring the outdoors and discovering new places.

I live in Tasmania, where there is ample opportunity for photography. I love to travel and have numerous photos that I am yet to review – just finding the time can be challenging. In 2010 I had the opportunity to visit some of the most amazing places on our earth with a trip to the Antarctic Peninsula via the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) and South Georgia. This trip continued into early 2011 travelling through Patagonia (part of this included a Photography Tour) and to other parts of Chile and Argentina. There are no words that can describe all that we saw and experienced… hopefully the images tell more of the story.

I enjoy sharing my experiences with others through my photos and hope that you enjoy browsing my redbubble portfolio.

Wilson's Promontory

I recently took a journey to one of my favourite places… Wilson’s Promontory in Victoria, Australia. Although I’ve hiked a number of the available tracks there on previous visits (including overnighters) I haven’t been so spoiled to see so much birdlife than what I saw on this visit. It might have something to do with the weather – on many times in the past it̵…

Kings Canyon

It’s only September and already heating up in Central Australia – we’re already experiencing mid to high 30’s C when ordinarily at this time of the year it’s up to 5 degrees C cooler.
