Autumn leaves
Green to crimson
Green to yellow
And orange too.

Gently rustling,
Crunching and crumbling
Falling down from the tree
To lay next to you.

Crisp foggy mornings
Ground covered with dew,
Shimmering and glistening
Dewdrops are shining too.

What a wonderful little writing. Such a nice description of what you were observing… and feeling. This writing makes me smile :) In about six months will you grace us with a writing entitled “Spring”, written while sitting in that park observing the newness of life? That would be a joy.

  • It’s actually Spring now Roger. I had that little poem hidden away in my notebook, but thought it should be shared with others.
I have recently written a Spring poem and will upload it soon.
