Kylie, do you like your Olympus? That’s the one I’ve had my eye on, but does it have a viewfinder? Love this photo! Amazing! What a catch.
Hillie. I LOVE my Olympus! yes, it does have a viewfinder and LCD screen. I am very happy with the photos i get from it, the super macro mode is great and the 20X zoom is a bonus too!
I do believe this was a great find… Thanks for the positive feedback.
Wow this is a gorgeous photo!! what a capture.. they look like bee’s of some description or a type of wasp. Are these australian bugs??
Thank you very much Heidi. I live in Sydney, Australia and the top blue one (The Cuckoo Bee) is a native bee. Thanks for the comment, much appreciated.

There is a group called One, two, three,. They have a different number each week and this week its 4 of anything – you might consider putting this in it.
Thanks for that- i’ll look into it.

it is interesting – the 3 x lower bees are Blue Banded Bees. (see bubble mail). however I’ve never seen such a vibrant BBB as the one on the top – this could be an Australian Geographic moment (big $$$) 8-)
The blue bee on the top is actually a Cuckoo Bee and i have been told all these bees are MALES. The female blue banded bee has 4 blue stripes where the males have 5 blue stripes. Also, the Cuckoo Bee is an Australian Native Bee which preys on the nests of Blue Banded bees.
