This isn’t exactly 2 generations, but i just felt the name fit the image of these fungi.
The one at the back is the younger of the two and has not yet opened up to reveal it’s inner beauty.

What amazing fungi! I find these ‘things’ amazing but so rarely come across them and never ones like these. Gorgeous (which I know is not a word most people would apply but I just love this picture!)
