This is the third piece in the series and it also follows the same kind of pattern as the first two. It was also originally done in 2007 using Indian ink on white Bristol board (original size was 20″×30″). However, in this piece I tried a much different architectural style modeled after the famous Himeji Castle in Japan. This one has a lot of the same sort of stuff as the others so I won’t bother to point out every little thing, but there is something interesting about this particular piece. While I was working on this series I asked some friends for some ideas and one of them suggested I do one with Japanese or Chinese architecture so I hid her name in the actual piece. I’m not going to give away where it is exactly, but it is really small and well hidden so you have to really look to find it. In the end, out of all of the pieces in this series, this one is one of my favorites so I hope you really enjoy it!
