I am laying flat on my back in the boat …. my arms folded – my hands clasped comfortably in paw vice….. my eyes shut….breathing calm and shallow as I slow down my systems just to avoid movement. I tip toe over my breath – my audion senses more sensitive now and the sounds enhanced to a crispyness never experienced before…... I am concentrating …..... concentrating on the sounds of silence…... I am quite still …... my ears dancing with the surrounding sounds from the forestation …. an odd ‘croak croak’ from closeby and a swishing PLOP as the frog dives under!
