Can imagine just needing to squint a little as you walk across the sanded boards and onto the sand … and feeling glad that you stirred from your bed early enough to be present. Thank you for your skill so that we are able to share this too.

It is as if you paint with the camera. Also the one of the shipwreck and the birds at Cape Cod (was that a fresh shipwreck, or did you add the smoke image somehow?)

Adore what you’ve done with this. Of course, it has many textures and visual interest with the shadows – wonderful judgement with time of day. But then – to enhance it like this! Beautiful the way you have lightened it.

I had no idea where Nauset Beach was…. (I live in Canada) so did a search on Google Earth!

Thats alot of beautiful beach stretch there …. great light am and pm!

My feel for this image is me facing the light and water and a steady wind that skims over the water and wet sand and then lifts the golden sand and carries it towards me. All I see is Early Morning Shimmer…..

I can smell the ocean and feel the sand beneath my feet…. Brings back memories of walking to the beach in Wildwood Crest, NJ at sunrise with no one around but me, the gulls and the sound of the water.
